EASY
1. Mid-Mountain Trail
• Accessible from Silver Lake.
• Hike to the Montage or to the St. Regis for a coffee or cocktail with a beautiful view from either hotel.
2. Donut Falls
• A beautiful drive through Big Cottonwood Canyon.
• Stop at The Silver Fork Lodge for a delicious bite to eat.
3. Willow Lake Trail
• Also in Big Cottonwood Canyon…and worth a stop at the Silver Fork Lodge.
MODERATE
1. Armstrong Hike to Dawn’s Trail Loop
• Trailhead starts at the Silver Star Cafe in Park City.
• The trees should be in full gorgeous fall colors.
• Stop for lunch and a cocktail after you hike. The Silver Star Cafe never disappoints.
2. Bloods Lake Trail
• Located in Bonanza Flats.
• Aspen trees should be stunningly yellow.
• It is possible to hike to Bonanza Flats from Silver Lake. Refer to the All Trails App.
3. Stewart Falls Lower Trail
• A gorgeous drive to the Sundance Mountain Resort.
• Take a scenic chairlift up to the Bearclaw Cabin and then to the trailhead. The falls are a gorgeous payoff.
• Stay for lunch at one of their many restaurant options.
4. Ontario to Silver Lake Loop
• Accessible from Silver Lake-- Breathtaking Views of the Jordanelle Reservoir!
CHALLENGING
1. Lake Blanche
• Amy’s favorite hike!
• Stunning views with a gorgeous lake view payoff.
• Located in Big Cottonwood Canyon (see notes above)
2. Bald Mountain Trail
• John’s favorite hike!
• Located in the Uintas
• Exposed views with a bit of rock to navigate at the top. Worth the climb.
• Stop in Kamas for a burger at Hi-Mountain.
